With a 10-inch rise on a standard Scout, the stock cables will typically suffice. However, for a Scout Bobber, you’ll need a +2 brake line and clutch cable kit, which are available directly from Indian. For anything taller, most customers opt for custom lines from Russell Performance, Galfer, or Barnett, along with wire extensions from NAMZ. We measure rise from the base of the bar straight up to the level of the hand controls—so a 10-inch rise means your hands will sit approximately 10 inches above the bar mount.
